About the Role
River Downs Golf Club is seeking a reliable and motivated Line Cook to join our growing clubhouse kitchen team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and execute menu items according to recipes and standards
- Assist with food prep, cooking, plating, and service during operating hours
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and proper food-handling procedures
- Support special events, tournaments, and clubhouse functions as needed
- Communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house staff
- Contribute to menu improvement and seasonal specials (optional depending on skill)
Qualifications
- Previous line cook or kitchen experience preferred (but willing to train motivated candidates)
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and event days as required
- Understanding of basic kitchen equipment, knife skills, and safety practices
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs
