Medical Assistant – Pediatrics (Full-Time)
East Liberty Family Health Care Center – Pittsburgh, PA
East Liberty Family Health Care Center (ELFHCC) is a community-based health center committed to providing compassionate, high-quality care to families across Pittsburgh. We are seeking dedicated Medical Assistants with a strong interest in pediatrics to join our growing clinical team.
Key Responsibilities
- Room pediatric patients, collect vitals, and document clinical information
- Perform specimen collection (urine, throat swabs, phlebotomy) and point-of-care testing
- Administer immunizations and assist with procedures such as EKGs, PFTs, and breathing treatments
- Triage patient concerns and escalate appropriately within the clinical team
- Maintain clean, stocked exam rooms and support front desk operations as needed
- Answer phones, assist with scheduling, and provide patient education
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred
- Proficient in phlebotomy and immunization protocols
- Valid PA driver's license and reliable transportation required for travel between sites
- Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively

Salary is commensurate with experience.
