JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Title: Learning & Systems Specialist

Department: Operational Support and Development

Salary Range:$62,000 to $75,000

Location: Florence, KY (This is NOT a remote position)

Summary: We are seeking a versatile and passionate Learning & Systems Specialist to join our Operational Support and Development team. This multi-focused role is at the heart of our mission to empower franchisees toward success. The ideal candidate will be a creative instructional designer with skills in graphic design who also possesses the technical aptitude and problem-solving skills to provide direct support for our learning platforms and operational systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Instructional Design & Development:

• Design and develop engaging learning content and training materials for our franchisees and their employees, including new hire onboarding, operational procedures (SOPs), and specialized skill training.
• Conduct needs analysis to identify training gaps and design targeted learning interventions and resources.
• Create and manage content for our Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring it is up-to-date, accurate, and easy to navigate.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts across departments to transform complex information into clear, actionable training.

Graphic Design & Content Creation:

• Create high-quality visual assets for all training materials, including slides, infographics, checklists, and manual layouts.
• Assist in the production and editing of training videos and other multimedia content.
• Ensure all visual content is consistent with our brand guidelines.

Technical & Learning Support:

• Provide direct technical support to franchisees for our learning platforms (LMS), resource center, and core operational software (e.g., OptiSigns).
• Diagnose and resolve user issues related to access, navigation, and content functionality in a timely and professional manner.
• Serve as a point of contact for franchisees with questions about training content, software functionality, or where to find specific resources.
• Maintain and update our online resource libraries to ensure all information is organized and easily discoverable.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in instructional design or learning and development utilizing instructional design software such as Articulate.
• Proficiency with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
• Proficiency in the creation of video tutorials utilizing video editing and screen capture software (e.g., Camtasia)
• Experience administering or managing content within a Learning Management System (LMS).
• Strong technical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot common software and user-interface issues.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to simplify complex information.
• Customer-oriented mindset with strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to franchisee success.
• Strong presentation skills

Education and Experience:

• 3+ years of professional experience in the field of learning, development and support
• Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or Graphic Design (or a related field of study)
