Chief Business Operations (HCTB)

This position is located in the Office of Human Capital and Training, Human Capital and Training Business Center.

As a Chief Business Operations (HCTB), you will oversee the strategic and operational management of HCT's resources and mission support.Qualifications:The qualifications for this position must be met by 11:59 PM (Eastern Time) on 08/22/2025.

Current Federal employees must have served 52 weeks at the lower grade or equivalent grade band in the Federal service. The Time-in-Grade requirement must be met by 11:59 PM (Eastern Time) on 08/22/2025.

GS-15: You qualify at the GS-15 level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience, which is equivalent to at least the GS-14 level in the federal government, that equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. You must have experience performing the following duties:

• Managing complex multi-faceted programs in at least two of the following areas: Resource Management, Financial Management, Acquisition and Contracts, and Mission Support;
• Establishing short and long-term goals designed to achieve the administrative needs and organizational objectives of HCT, MGT and USCIS in alignment with established time-frames;
• Serving as a senior advisor and consulting with high level Headquarters management regarding key programs processes and methods;
• Managing and leading subordinate staff towards mission accomplishment in various program areas.
