Job Description:

Expert Water Removal is seeking a dynamic Reconstruction Project Manager to join our team. This hybrid role combines the responsibilities of understanding detailed estimates, budgets, scheduling and managing the full lifecycle of restoration projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in the insurance restoration industry, strong understanding of Xactimate estimates. and a proven track record project management, with the ability to effectively manage projects from start to finish, while delivering projected withing the projected budgets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Relations:
  • Review and clarify estimates and services to clients, addressing any questions or concerns and ensuring clarity and agreement on the project scope.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Assist clients with material selections, while steering them withing the budgets.
  • Additional Project Estimation and Scoping:
  • Accurately scope and document additional service request, change orders or supplements.
  • Ensure that all additional work request or estimated and paid for, as per the work authorizations
  • Project Management:
  • Oversee all phases of assigned restoration projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Coordinate and manage subcontractors, vendors, and in-house crews to execute projects efficiently.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates and addressing any changes in project scope.
  • Monitor project progress and adjust schedules and resources as needed.
  • Documentation and Compliance:
  • Ensure all project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and invoices, is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Adhere to all industry regulations and company policies, ensuring compliance with safety standards and legal requirements.
  • Track and report on project financials, including job costing, budgeting, and profitability.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in the restoration industry, with a focus on project management.
  • Xactimate experience is preferred but not required.
  • Proven ability to manage client relationships.
  • Strong knowledge of construction practices, building codes, and restoration processes.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • IICRC certifications (e.g., WRT, ASD, AMRT) are a plus.
