Our Client is seeking Certified Medication Technicians to provide support to adults with intellectual developmental disabilities throughout the Charles County area. Areas needing assistance are Waldorf, Port Tobacco and LaPlata, MD.

SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
- Guide and assist residents to learn, live, and function in the community as independently as possible
- Provide direct care, interaction, and supervision of the residents, inclusive of all daily needs (meals, grooming, personal needs, transportation, recreation, leisure, medical and medication administration)
- Prepare progress notes and complete daily logs as directed
- May require some daily driving as needed by the program
- Treat residents with dignity and respect including providing opportunities to engage in decision making, constructive activities, and habilitative services to the extent they are able
CLIENT'S REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Compassionate about the care and well being of others
- Minimum of a High School Diploma
- Ability to complete and pass background check
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
