Report To: 60's Plus Dining Program Director

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Inter-Lakes Community Action Partnership, Inc. (ICAP) is dedicated to empowering individuals and enhancing communities in South Dakota. We are currently seeking a Site Manager II to oversee our 60's Plus Dining Program in Watertown, SD. This position plays a crucial role in managing the day-to-day operations of our nutrition sites, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to the elderly in our community.

Key Responsibilities:

Site Operations:

  • Oversee the operation of Nutrition Site(s), ensuring high service quality, participant satisfaction, and compliance with health regulations.
  • Record daily meal reservations and coordinate home-delivered meal routes.
  • Ensure compliance with the cycle menu and monitor food quality and sanitation practices.
  • Manage site supplies, equipment repair services, and financial documentation.

Administrative Duties:

  • Conduct assessments and determine eligibility for program participants.
  • Lead outreach efforts and engage with the community to enhance program participation.
  • Distribute nutrition education and organize monthly site activities.
  • Interact with site council members and relay feedback to the Program Director.

Community Engagement:

  • Promote the 60's Plus Dining Program within the community and network with other agencies to provide comprehensive services.
  • Participate in fundraising activities and represent ICAP positively in all public relations efforts.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Direct supervision of employees and volunteers, including hiring, training, performance appraisal, and conflict resolution.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree or relevant experience preferred.
  • At least one year of experience in recruitment, programming, kitchen sanitation, and bookkeeping.
  • Strong supervisory experience with excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with volunteers, staff, and the elderly.
  • Proficient in basic math and able to perform administrative tasks including report writing and data entry.
  • Valid South Dakota Driver's License and ability to be bonded.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Exceptional communication skills for effective interaction with a diverse group of clients, employees, and community members.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions.
  • Physical ability to perform job duties, including lifting/moving items as needed.

Work Environment:

  • The role involves travel to various sites as needed, with exposure to outside weather conditions.
  • Moderate noise level in the work environment, with a mix of desk work and site visits.
