The position will be located in Charlotte County, N.B. area and will require travel to all hatcheries within the province.

The Role
This position offers full-time, year-round employment.
Primary duties include:
- Repairing and maintaining electrical systems on all hatchery equipment.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical equipment within the hatchery properties.
- Inspect and test electrical systems to ensure proper operation.
- Inspect and maintain electrical systems; wiring, connections etc.
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance
- Ensure scheduled maintenance is completed
- Prepare and submit reports related to electrical systems maintenance.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment.
- Ensure safety and compliance with the regulations.
- Test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage and resistance
- Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
The ideal candidate must be:
- A self-motivated team player who possesses excellent problem-solving skills.
- Minimum of 5 years electrical experience preferred.
- Must possess either Electrical Journeyman or Mechanical Journeyman.
- Regular travel to hatchery facilities throughout the province.
