We are now welcoming candidates to apply for full-time articling positions at our Vancouver, Richmond or Kelowna office to begin their CPA career with our team, this is a pre-approved program position starting in January 2026.
About You
You love accounting and chose this profession not because of the number-crunching (though numbers are your first language), but because you love identifying and solving problems. You are empathetic to clients and treat their finances with care - whatever solution you offer; you have the client’s best interests in mind. You realize that accounting clients like to discuss financial and accounting solutions in plain English terms, so you save the accounting code words for your teammates instead.
Travelling is in your blood. Sure, it’s nice to admire financial statements on your three monitors at the RHN office, but you also enjoy being at the client’s office. Whether it’s a quick trip downtown to an office building, or a five-day excursion with teammates to a remote town in BC, you see each opportunity to travel as an adventure.
What Might be on Your Resume
- Completion or near completion of an Accounting program at a recognized Canadian post-secondary institution
- Previous accounting co-op experience, particularly in public practice would be an advantage
- Experience with CaseWare/CaseView, Taxprep, and Microsoft Office, whether in an academic or professional setting

- Completing a variety of engagements assigned to you, such as T1 and T2 tax returns, Compilation, Review and Audit engagements
- Meeting internal and external deadlines, while staying within the allotted time budget
- Actively participating in ongoing professional development by partaking in firm-wide learning sessions and being open-minded to constant learning and improving
- Engrossing yourself in RHN’s values and leadership philosophies, and guiding your everyday interaction with staff and clients using these principles
