JOB SUMMARY
As a Janitor at Mackenzie Hotel, your role is vital in ensuring that our common areas across four locations are clean, tidy, and well-maintained. This position involves maintaining cleanliness in public spaces such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and other high-traffic areas, following established cleaning procedures. Your day will start at the hotel, where you will clock in before being transported to various sites as needed. Rides between locations are provided.
We are looking for someone who takes pride in creating a welcoming environment, has an eye for detail, and is ready to contribute to our team.
This position is full-time, on a casual basis, starting as soon as possible.
QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants must be/have:
- Customer-oriented and friendly
- Ability to follow instructions and attention to detail
- Physical ability to perform housekeeping tasks
- Reliable and punctual
- Positive attitude and willingness to work in a team
Preference may be given to candidates with the following:
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of the restaurant and/or hotel industry
